Silver futures closed at $12.91 on Thursday

May silver futures closed up 19.5 cents at $12.91 an ounce yesterday. Prices closed near mid-range yesterday. The key outside markets were auspicious for silver yesterday-solidly surge in crude oil prices, a weaker U.S. dollar and a rebound in the U.S. stock market. Bulls have the overall near-term technical advantage.
