First Majestic Awarded "Clean Industry Certificate"

First Majestic ^[1] (TSE:FR) annouced today that it's wholly owned sub, First Majestic Plata, SA de SV., was awarded a Clean Industry Certificate. The certificate was awarded by the Mexican Environmental Authority PROFEPA for the company's activities at its La Parrilla Silver Mine.

The press release states that voluntary audits were submitted for twenty-nine months to demonstrate a sustained focus on complying with Mexican environmental mining standards.
