First Majestic Silver Production Increases

First Majestic Silver (TSE:FM) reported today that they produced over one million ounces of silver in the first quarter of 2009.  Overall head grade across FM’s three mines in Mexico increased to 222 grams per tonne of silver, increasing from 207 g/t Ag in the last quarter of 2008.  Recoveries are expected to increase significantly with the introduction of a new 3500 tpd cyanidation expected to be ready in June of this year.
