Sixth annual silver summit

The sixth annual Silver Summit, dubbed the world’s premiere silver investment conference, will be held between September 18-19 in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

Silver enthusiasts from all over the world will gather in this lakeside resort town to discuss “silver mining, silver stocks, silver investments, silver strategies, silver as money, and the future of silver in society.”  Last year’s Silver Summit was attended by over 700 participants from all over the globe.

The two-day conference will be followed by a day of “fun and celebration” (September 20) in the Silver Capitol of the World: Wallace, Idaho. The Silver Valley of northern Idaho holds the world’s “richest and most prolific silver mines.” The Coeur d’Alene Mining District boasts record silver production that far exceeds the famous Comstock and Potosi districts.

The Silver Summit is hosted by the Silver Valley Mining Association (SVMA), which is a corporation devoted to promoting northern Idaho’s Silver Valley and its mining industry. The SVMA’s duties involve “informing the public of the history and merits of the region, serving various beneficiary needs of the mining industry, and serving those who work in the industry and the investing public”, as well as supporting “scholarship and other charitable activities for the region … [and] general information programs for the public.”
