Silver drops more than 5 pct as investors retreat

Reuters reports investors sold assets across the board after U.S. investment bank Lehman Brothers filed for bankruptcy, silver fell more than 5 percent.

Spot silver was at $10.50/10.57 an ounce at 1310 GMT compared with a $11.08 an ounce at the close on Monday.
